The Enderrock Awards 2019 have been announced. Twenty-five music critics from the Catalan Countries (Països Catalans) have chosen the best 50 albums published in 2019. The critics award for the best classical music album went towards our album Arrels, a recovery project of the musical heritage by Robert Gerhard and Felip Pedrell’s trio, starring the young musicians from Trio Pedrell. The album includes the first world recording of Trio número 1 by Robert Gerhard, which remained unpublished until now, and was preserved in the Institut d’Estudis Vallencs Archive, a work from which we will also publish the score. A further appeal of the album is the first recording of the two Nocturns-trio by Pedrell in an original version with harmonium (played by Juan de la Rubia).
From January onwards, a series of popular voting rounds will start, we hope that our records published in 2018 can find your support and recognition there.
